Invited speakers are prestigious professors who have extensive teaching and research experience and whose work has been widely published in their respective fields. Sessions will be structured around the presentation of articles and work of the speakers themselves, presenting reviews of the work and the current state of issues involved.

English will be the primary language of all programs. On occasion, Spanish may also be used.


Courses usually take place from 9:00am to 4:00pm. There is a lunch break around 12:00pm to 13:30pm. The last day of the course ends at 12:30pm.*

On the last day of each symposium, participants who attend all sessions will receive a certificate of participation.

Transportation and Accommodation
Participants must arrange their own transportation and accommodation plans. Please book in advance as spaces for hotels and flights fill up very quickly (it is suggested to insure the purchase of airline tickets for possible unforeseen events). Occasionally, there are special hotel discount rates for IAP participants.
