“Attending the IAP symposium was an amazing experience. The quality of the professors, depth and relevance of the readings and topics discussed, support received from the IAP staff, and the diversity and high-level of the participants created an ideal situation for learning, challenging my intellect, and looking beyond my current studies and occupations toward the biggest issues our world is currently facing. It was an amazing way to dive into public policy from a global, critical and reality-rooted perspective.”

“A great experience, highly recommended! Each session of the symposium was very inspiring. The teachers were excellent. The program is well balanced and up-to-date. Having the opportunity to be taught by Harvard and MIT experienced teachers is an experience that I will never forget. Moreover, the participants are very interesting people. Having the opportunity to talk with them and exchange experiences is a highlight of the program.”

“As an IAP participant in 2019, I found the program extremely interesting and useful. I would recommend it for three main reasons. First of all, the classes. Listening to lectures given by Harvard and Oxford university professors is in itself very rewarding. The lectures are practical, and the conversations between professor and participants are extremely fulfilling. Some professors have decades of experience. There is plenty of required reading material provided before the week begins so that one can gain knowledge and feel confident and prepared, making it possible to get the most out of each lecture. Secondly, the program brings together people from Spain and Latin American countries with diverse and very qualified backgrounds and experiences. The group worked very well together. Third, the whole experience of being on the Harvard campus is really nice and worth it. Lastly, I would mention that one can see Raquel´s involvement and enthusiasm, it’s really contagious!”
